Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of HeyNico. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use HeyNico.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use HeyNico. The service is intended for business use by contractors and small crews.

The service

HeyNico is a voice-first AI assistant that helps contractors capture tasks and notes, set reminders, draft client emails for your approval, and stay on top of jobs. Features evolve over time; we may add, change, or remove functionality.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your phone and login secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use HeyNico for any unlawful purpose.
• Send harassing, threatening, deceptive, or otherwise abusive communications through the service.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
• Resell or sublicense access to your account.
• Use the service to violate the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights.

AI output and drafts

HeyNico uses large language models. Outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or surprising. You are responsible for reviewing what HeyNico produces before relying on it. In particular:

• Email drafts are never sent without your explicit approval. Once you approve a draft, it is sent as written.
• Tasks, reminders, and entity records created from conversation can be edited or deleted at any time from inside the app.
• HeyNico does not provide legal, financial, tax, or professional advice.

Communications you authorize

By creating an account, you authorize HeyNico to send you transactional SMS, push, and email notifications related to your use of the service. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we send and how to opt out.

Subscriptions and billing

HeyNico is offered as a paid subscription. Founding-cohort users receive an introductory rate of $99 per month. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not prorate partial months unless required by law.

Your content

You own the content you create in HeyNico. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process that content so we can provide the service to you (for example, sending it to our AI providers to generate responses). We do not use your content to train third-party AI models, and we do not share it with anyone for purposes outside operating the service.

Our service

The HeyNico software, brand, and underlying systems are owned by us and our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.

Termination

You can stop using HeyNico at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms, if your account becomes a security risk, or if we discontinue the service. We will give reasonable notice except where doing so would harm the service or other users.

Disclaimers

HeyNico is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HeyNico is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which HeyNico is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email; continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
